Time lapse is taking a picture once every so often so you get the &quot;fast forward&quot; effect, and HDR is where you take several pictures at one time and combine them.  This is necessary because when the flowers bloom in the morning, the sun is also rising.  That means you go from very dark to very bright in a short period of time.  The camera wouldn&#039;t be able to cover all that contrast in one photo, so several photos are taken and combined on a computer.  I&#039;m so glad you enjoyed it!</description>
